My Petsafe Invisible Fence Collar is not working - Please help?
We just recently purchased a PetSafe Deluxe inground invisible fence. Everything was working great. However, all of a sudden, the collar stopped shocking. It still beeps, but once you cross the line, nothing happens. The LED indicator on the collar will come on when you press the button on the collar, but it does not flash to tell us what setting it is on. The transmitter is on, and nothing has changed. I have searched all over the internet and the manual, and both have been no help. I keep thinking it isn't the battery since it says in the manual that the LED indicator will blink several times a minute, and also that the collar is less than a month old. Please help!!!
Those collars can be a real pain in the rear to say the least.. Could be anything really.. But since you're not 100% sure, start with the battery first. If you change the battery and still have a problem then you may need to replace the collar. I know you don't think it's a battery issue, but once the battery goes bad they don't always do what the instructions say they will..And normally if your dogs plays or lays close to the underground wire the battery will wear down fast..
