First Priority Christian leaders

Now is the time for a new generation of Christian leaders to intensify and its God given place of leadership. I know that is not an easy task. However, there can be no argument. The time is now.

I have to say that there is much to write and speak when it comes to the topic of leadership. Many definitions and many different ideas of what makes a great leader, etc. I would like to discuss Christian leader. More specifically, I would like discussion of the Christian Leader and his first priority. Why? Because in my humble opinion, this is vital, which makes a big difference in the lives of all leaders. Especially in terms of actually fulfilling God's call for the individual.

In Peter Drucker's books on leadership, there is a chapter entitled "First Things First". In the letter of Peter Drucker says that leadership leadership quality refers to the priorities. It then notes in his book "The Effective Executive -" Effective executives do first things first and do a single thing at a time. "I have to say, along with others before me. This is a good director. However, in reality these are two directors: the first is the establishment of priorities and the second is to manage time effectively …. That, as James Boice brings so clearly in his commentary Nehemaih book – "Learning to point advantage" of Peter Drucker actually have two questions. I suggest the following is the best way to answer both questions.

A first priority of Christian leaders should be prayer. Jesus himself this time. He noted the line in the sand when he told his disciples: "Watch and pray" He set the example, as happened the beginning of each day on time alone with the Father in prayer. I know you know this, but the point is that people know, but many simply are not doing it! You ask how I know? Look at the world around you. Look at the condition of the Bride of Christ. Listen to the bite back into the body. See how a church street fights with the other church down the street … Where is the love? Where is the compassion? Where's the forgiveness? Where is mercy and truth?

You see when you and I and all Christian leaders spends hours of beginning their day in prayer, Somewhat surprisingly takes place in our hearts. The love of God seems to overwhelm just encourages us and enables us to walk in this thing called love radical. Remember AGAPE! Do you Remember what Jesus said, the two great commandments: love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. Why is this so important? Jesus said the world lost around us "know that you are my disciples by your love for one another." Love is powerful, we need God the Holy Spirit and we need time each day in prayer to the gods loving way.

There is another reason to believe that prayer comes first:

Christian Leadership is a God sized task. It has been claimed. that the prayer of Abraham Lincoln the man he was. He himself once said. "I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere to go. My own wisdom and that of those about me seemed insufficient for the day. "The writer leadership people disagree, but The Bible is clear and I personally have discovered in my own life. Prayer is a first for the Christian leader. Take your morning, with time awake in prayer.

Nothing is more important than our relationship with our God. Prayer keeps the relationship fresh active, agile. It maintains the flow of blood and intimate relationship.
