Help with building jump standards???
I'm building some jump standards. I have successfully put it together except for the cups used to hold the poles. Does anyone know any good places to get these or other things to substitute for these? Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks so much for your help!!! 
You can get jump cups at any eqnglish tack dealer locally and online. Ebay has them too as well as State Line Tack. I never buy from Dover they are more expensive then anyone I think.
As for substituting I can suggest useing tuna cans or small butter dishes cut them in 1/2 then attach them to the standards where you want them it would be the cheapest/quickest way till you get the real deal in. Another way is to buy so End Caps for water piping in the size of the poles you plan to use you can again cut these in have then screw or nail them on.
