To be effective, export controls training should be multi-layered. At a minimum, the following export controls training elements should be incorporated into any effective compliance program:
• Export Controls Intermediate training. For employees who deal export issues.
• Advanced control of exports of Training.For export compliance staff.
• Induction Export Controls Training.For all new employees as part of a general induction program.
• Export Control Update Training.At least annually, and / or when significant changes in export controls take place.
• Briefings first level (for the Board to assess the underlying reasons for the controls and the risk to themselves and the company of violations)
• Senior Training Management. To give practical effect to compliance policies, developed and agreed by the Board.
• Introduction export controls training. For all employees, to provide awareness of the need for compliance.
In large enterprises, export controls training, in part, be carried out through an intranet site. This can also, if regularly updated and maintained, provide a valuable resource in law, licensing, policies, etc. to be easily accessible.
Export Control Training for the supply chain is likely also benefit from the purchasing company that offers training, even if you do it for free.
