Training Aid Stop

Does anyone know how to kick a soccer ball far distances?
I’m looking to kick a soccer ball atleast 50 yards with height, power, and sometimes bend. If you could tell me how to do this when the ball is at a stop and when it is rolling towards or away from me that would be great. Another thing that you coul help me on is how to keep my ankles locked withouth the help of any training aids. Also if you could teach me all the different techniques and tips you know that would be awesome.
P.S.- I’m a 14 year old male, about 5-10-5-11, and weigh about 130-135 lbs. (Don’t know if that will help you at all.)
-I play striker sometimes because of my overwhelming speed, but play defense sometimes because I lack all the moves, control and tricks to get by defenses.
P.S. I can kick around 25-35 yards right now.
When you’re looking for distance, the two most important factors are striking position and follow through.
I’ll assume that you have some basic level of skill. When addressing the ball, make sure that your front toe is slightly behind the front of the ball–you want to be able to get your kicking foot underneath. You’re aiming for just underneath the center of the ball so you can get some loft, but not so much underneath that you’re kicking a pop-up. Also, leaning back slightly will add loft. Leaning back will make the ball rise, while leaning forward will create a line drive shot, which is ideal for shots on goal inside the 18.
As you strike the ball, make sure that you’re using the top of your foot (the laces), since that will give you the most power. To create bend, strike the ball more towards right-center–that will create spin on the ball that will give you that curvature.
To keep your ankles locked, you can look for longer spikes. Most of it, however, is balance. You’re more than likely slipping if your ankles aren’t strong enough to support your body weight. You’re young, so you’ll keep developing and getting stronger.
Here’s a drill that my team use to do to practice on distance and accuracy. We would play golf. Set up a target any distance away–50 yards, 100, 150. The object is to hit the target is as few strokes as possible. It takes a combination of distance and accuracy to consistently score low.
BTW, I played for 20 years, 2 of those years were in Europe.
